A team of friends who are connected through several places, paths and stories. This project combines their fields of interest and brings them back to the hinterlands.

Editorial team:

Maike Suhr, born in the North German hinterland, is a research associate and doctoral candidate at Bauhaus-University Weimar. Her research focuses on journalism entrepreneurship and diversity.

Freia Kuper is a researcher and occasional writer. She experienced rural and provincial life before moving to Berlin. 

Hanna Döring started her early years in the splendid isolation of an island. Later on she moved onshore. She is passionate about moving images but also about all things textile and edible - these are recurring themes in her work.

Till Hormann is a graphic designer and musician based in Amsterdam.
